After recent trademarks and 2 year old domain name goof up, it has become quite evident that Apple is going to call its tablet as iSlate, ‘i’ as in ipod, i phone, and not mac as in macbook, and mac pro. I for one believe that Mactab would have sound much better than iSlate. Heck, even Mac Plate sounds cooler.
Anyway I’m sure they’re going to make it look cool, once the official reports and announcements start forming up.
Apple ethusiasts all over believe that Apple is going to announce iSlate on Jan 26, next year. Apple is reported to have scheduled a
, and the press all over has shown hints at this being the launch day of the Apple Tablet.
The tablet’s name iSlate hints at it being more of an upgraded ipod decide, than a downgraded Mac machine. Which further hints at use of an ARM processor, and another variant of the striped down Mac OSX operating system.
